To All of Our Friends and Neighbours,
It had been our hope and intention to reopen the Manordale Rink once again. However after a careful inspection of the rink after the thaw earlier this week and the snow storm we have deemed it unsafe. Since is made on an asphalt base there has been severe melting around the outer edges and although the rest of the ice surface looked solid there were areas where the ice below the surface had melted and the top layer would crack when skated upon. We wish to thank all of our volunteers for their many hours of hard work and our friends and neighbours for coming out and enjoying their hard work. We hope to see you all back again next year and if you wish to help us out please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
